Custom Home Building Process
Before We Kick Things Off
In our Pre-Construction phase, you will meet our Design-Build Team and discuss your project and our build process.
We will walk you through our various floor plans or show us your ideas for your dream custom home, we can modify any plan or draft a new design based on your needs.
Land – discuss lot feasibility and availability. As custom builders we can guide you through any development needed for your property.
Design & Draw
In our Design Phase, you will need to sign a design contract and pay the required non-refundable deposit at our office. Your design deposit includes permit ready plans (custom or modified) with two 3D views of your house interior and exterior. The design deposit also includes our Design Presentation – a visual spec sheet booklet with all of the details, designs and pricing for your home. For info about the design process: bluedesignstc.com
Upon paying your design deposit, you will sit down with our designers to discuss finishes, colors and materials so we can detail your Design Presentation to suit your needs and style.
Once reviewing the Design Presentation, you’ll select any optional upgrades or plan changes.
Finally, our Design Team will finalize price & plans and sign your design contract.
Time to Build Your Custom Home
We will onboard your project onto our builder software. This is a portal for you, our team, and our subcontractors to communicate and see all specifications for your project.
Our Design-Build team will lead you through the final selection of interior and exterior materials and colors.
Follow construction process through the schedule on our builder software. We update progress and photos.
After framing, we have an electric walk through where you are able to finalize the electric locations and switches.
Changes and modifications during the build may result in a Change Order. Change Order payments are due in full at the time of approval.
